OBI project in Indonesia

The project is located in the west of OBI Island, North Maluku Province, Indonesia, and is the first wet nickel and cobalt smelting project in Indonesia. The rubber joint selected by the project is installed on the smelting process and water supply pipeline of OBI Nickel Cobalt Project in Indonesia. It is continuously operated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and will be operated under periodic or sudden pressurization and decompression conditions. Second, it is mainly installed outdoors, long-term exposure to acidic gas, seaside climate, hot weather, strong ultraviolet and other environments, requiring weather resistance, ultraviolet resistance, wear resistance and other properties; Third, specifications and pressure standards are different, a wide variety of rubber, the number of nearly 700. In the face of this situation, our partner Ningbo Liqin Resources Science and Technology Development Co., LTD., visited many sites, and finally selected Liwei. After getting the technical documents, the engineers carefully studied and selected materials according to the medium conditions, and finally ensured that all rubber joints met the technical requirements. The rubber joint of the project was put into use in July 2020 and has been in safe operation ever since.
