A single sphere rubber expansion joint is the flexible element fitted between two fixed pipe sections. Its moulded rubber sphere carries the line pressure while letting the run extend, compress, shift sideways and deflect at an angle, so thermal growth, pump vibration and foundation settlement are absorbed at one point instead of loading the whole pipeline.

This DN100 model is a flange connection type. Both ends are drilled flanges bolted straight onto the buyer’s pipe flanges, with DIN, ANSI or JIS drilling supplied to match the site pipe class. The body is moulded in EPDM over a multi-layer polyester cord carcass with a galvanized steel wire ring, which keeps elasticity over a long stroke while holding dimensions under pressure.
